918 DOCO a destination for specialty donuts, treats

A new donut shop is making waves in the Owasso community.
918 DOCO, opened on Dec. 20 just west of the railroad tracks off of 76th Street in Owasso’s Redbud District, offers a wide variety of sweet treats for patrons to choose from.
Angela Foster owns the shop with her husband, Danny. The couple, who lives in Owasso, also owns Daylight Donuts in Skiatook and wanted to bring a new donut shop to their hometown, with the Redbud District serving as their target market.
“When we saw this place, we were like, ‘This is it,’” Angela said.
918 DOCO offers a wide range of items, including cake and croissant specialty donuts, along with meat selections such as sausage, egg and cheese pockets and ham, egg and cheese croissants.
The small shop, which features a drive-thru, plays host to a small staff of hard-working students ready to serve passersby.
“You’re going to get a friendly face; you’re going to get kids that are involved in the community that we’re teaching to be responsible … a hometown environment,” Angela said.
918 DOCO also offers complementary glazed donuts to those motorists on 76th Street waiting for the train to pass.
