The Copper Kiln fosters creativity, engagement for community

Painting is all the craze in downtown Owasso.
The Copper Kiln is continuing to draw residents to Owasso’s Redbud District thanks to its warm atmosphere and engaging activities.
The local ceramic studio offers patrons an opportunity to sit and paint a variety of pottery pieces by themselves or with others as a way to relax in a peaceful environment.
“It really is just some time with you and your brushes and your mind,” Wendy said. “Your time here is your own; you go at your own pace.”
Over 4,000 unique ceramic pieces are available to customize and fire in the kiln, located on site for a two- to three-day pickup.
When asked what she wants her customers to take away from their experience, Wendy said: “I just want them to come in and unwind and relax, to take a little bit of the load off, unstress.”
The Copper Kiln offers different classes and workshops. Call 918-272-5200 or visit thecopperkiln.com.
